Website design
Website design that search can read and people can act on.
We design new websites and redesign existing ones with a plan to protect the search traffic you already have. Your key pages get a clear structure that is easy for AI tools to read and for buyers to use.
SEO-safe redesign
A redesign often changes URLs and content. That is when sites can lose rankings they worked hard to earn.
Google’s guide to site moves says to map your old URLs to the new ones and to use permanent server-side redirects. It also says your visibility in Search may go up and down for a while during the move.
So we plan the move before we design a single page. One of us owns the URL map, redirects and tracking. The other owns the new pages. We check each other’s work before launch.
If your site is new and has no traffic yet, we skip the migration work. We start with your offer, your buyers and the pages they need.
What the redesign includes
- An inventory of your current URLs from your sitemap, a site crawl and Search Console.
- A URL map. Every old page gets a new home or a written reason to retire it.
- Permanent (301) redirects, tested before launch and again after it.
- Content parity checks, so titles, headings, body copy, internal links and structured data carry over or improve.
- Launch-day checks on robots.txt, noindex tags, canonical tags and the XML sitemap.
- A crawl after launch to catch broken links, redirect chains and missing pages.
- Before-and-after tracking of clicks, impressions, indexed pages and your key search terms.
How a website project runs
We use the same four steps for a new site or a redesign. Only the size of the work changes.
Audit
We review your current site, your search data and the pages buyers use most. For a new site, we start with your offer and the questions buyers ask.
Map
We agree on the sitemap, the URL map and what each key page must answer. All of this is settled before design starts.
Design in Figma
We design every page for desktop and mobile in Figma. You review real layouts with real copy, then we revise.
Build on WordPress
We build the approved design on WordPress, set up redirects and tracking, and run the launch checks. Then we compare the before and after numbers.
Three page types we design with extra care
These pages answer the questions buyers ask right before they choose. Each one gets a short FAQ with direct answers, written to be easy to quote.
Service pages
Who the service is for, what is included, how it works and how to start. One clear heading per question, so people and AI tools find each answer fast.
Pricing pages
Plans in a real HTML table, not an image. What each plan includes, the limits in plain words, and common questions answered on the same page.
Comparison pages
Your offer and the alternatives, side by side and easy to scan. We keep every claim fair and sourced. Buyers who are ready get a clear next step.
Is this the right service for you?
Website projects go best when the fit is clear from the start.
Good fit
- You are planning a redesign and want to protect the search traffic you already have.
- You need a new WordPress site with pages that explain your offer clearly.
- Your service, pricing or comparison pages get visits but few leads.
- You want design and SEO decided together by the same two people.
Not a fit
- You expect a new design alone to bring rankings or AI citations.
- You want the new site live next week, with no time to map URLs.
- You need a custom web app built. For product screens, see UI/UX design.
- You want a new look only and do not mind losing search traffic.
What we do not promise
We do not promise rankings, traffic or citations in AI answers. Nobody can guarantee them, and a new design alone will not create them.
Google’s AI features guidance says no special files or markup are needed to appear in AI Overviews or AI Mode. So we do not sell tricks. We design clear, crawlable pages with plain answers, and we track what changes.
Questions about website projects
Ask us anything about your current site or your plans for a new one.
Will a redesign hurt our rankings?
It can, which is why we plan for it. Google itself says visibility can go up and down for a while after a site move. We map every URL, test the redirects and track the numbers, so problems show up early.
Do you design in Figma and build on WordPress?
Yes. You approve every page in Figma before anything is built. We then build on WordPress, so your team can update text and images in the editor.
Can you make our pages show up in ChatGPT or AI Overviews?
Nobody can promise that. We design pages with clear headings, short answers, real tables and clean HTML, which make them easier for AI tools to read and quote. For tracking across AI tools, see AEO and GEO.
How much does a website project cost?
It depends on the number of pages, the content and whether we are moving an existing site. We send a fixed quote after a short call, and you approve it before any work starts.
